Buckingham Volatus CTX Airvo Widebody Helicopter

The executive's helicopter, widened

The Buckingham Volatus is the luxury helicopter of Los Santos, the one that lands on rooftops rather than at the airfield. This CTX Airvo version is a vanilla edit that gives it a widebody look, so it keeps the Volatus identity but stands apart from the stock aircraft already in the game.

Four seats and what that means in play

The Volatus CTX Airvo seats four. That is enough for a pilot plus three passengers, which covers most of what a city asks of a private helicopter:

• VIP and executive transfers between rooftops
• A gang or business leader's personal aircraft
• Charter or tour work for an aviation job
• Moving a small crew across the map quickly

Cockpit and cabin

The interior and exterior are both detailed, and the cabin is a proper interior rather than a blacked-out shell. The dials work, which matters more in a helicopter than in a car: players flying in first person rely on the instruments to read what they are doing.

Spawn code and file sizes

• Spawn code: gsthelivolatus1
• YFT: 934 KB
• YTD: 342 KB
• Polycount: 51,166 triangles
• Vertex count: 41,993

This is a light aircraft to stream. At well under 2 MB with a modest polycount, it costs less to load than many street cars, so you can make it available at a helipad or a hangar without worrying about the load on players' clients. Add the spawn code to your aircraft shop, job garage or admin spawn list as you would any addon vehicle.

Placing it on your server

Helicopters change how a city plays, since they skip traffic and police roadblocks. Most servers keep a luxury four-seater like this behind a pilot licence, a job or a high price, and the widebody look makes it obvious to everyone on the ground when someone has earned one.
